Young Lions
Cannes Young Lions Australia
The Young Lions Competition Australia is an annual brief for young creative teams.
In the Film category, we were given less than four days to concept, write, film and edit a 60-second ad.
2026—Build A Ballot
There’s so much more to elections than meets the eye. If you don’t actively follow politics, it feels like you’re going into the booth blindfolded.
Our film explores how a lack of clarity and understanding impacts the outcome of everyday decisions, linking this to uninformed voting.

2025—Saveful
We lost... but we kind of won?
We weren't even finalists for the comp, but the client picked our spot to run on their socials anyway.
We were tasked with convincing the judging panel that Saveful is the easiest way they can save time, money and food in the kitchen. All they need to do is add whatever is in their fridge, freezer and pantry, and the Saveful app will give them a chef created recipe.
So while we didn't really win, our spot still got to go out into the wild. We feel this outcome is a testament to how hard we worked to ensure our idea not only fit the brief, but was social first as well. This obsession with applying a social lens to every aspect of our execution might have been our downfall in the judging, but we knew that it's what made it a campaign that could exist in the real world.
2024—Shoreline
Felix came second in Australia. Check out his site for the 'Runners Up' film for Shoreline—an organisation improving the educational and employment opportunities for young First Nations people.
